BKV Group provided design and construction services for Affinity Plus Credit Union, a new banking facility on the second-floor skyway level of an existing office building at 50 South 6th Street in Minneapolis. This new facility offers high visibility and convenient branch location in the core of the downtown business/retail area.

A floor to ceiling glass curtain wall provides great visibility into the 2,727 sf space from the Nicollet Avenue skyway. Private offices with full glass walls face the main teller/lobby area, a central greeter station and a teller transaction area with four work stations giving the restricted site an open, airy feel. Interior finish selections include maple wall paneling and millwork trim with a combination of laminate and granite countertops. Perforated metal accent panels on the fronts of the counter stations and in the coffered panels in the ceiling in the lobby area gives an urban, upscale feeling to this credit union.
