BKV Group designed Excel’s new corporate office space bringing together business bankers from three branch locations into one facility. Located on the 10th floor of 50 South Sixth Street office tower, Excel’s new environment provides 27 private offices and 24 workstations. This initial build-out of 22,000 sf included expansion capabilities into the remainder of the 10th floor within two years. Final build-out was 34,000 sf and included 44 offices and 48 workstations.

The reception area, defined with travertine and marble walls with wood ceiling, is spacious and comfortable. The minimalist design approach creates a flexible and open work environment for the staff and clients. The materials selected throughout the space are lush with an unpretentious reserved feeling to them due to the way they are detailed and articulated. Finishes and materials are comprised of stone, wood, metal, glass and clean planes of white fabric wallcovering.
