BKV Group completed a new, 28-acre Corporate Headquarters campus for Buffets, Inc. Services performed included complete architectural, interior design and engineering as well as the programming and space needs assessment study. The campus includes a 100,000 sf office building to house the company’s corporate staff and national training center.

The building’s shape contours the edge of a sloped hillside with a gently folded, stepped design and extensive windows to facilitate views of the wooded site, river valley, Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport and the Minneapolis skyline. A horizontal sunscreen, linear windows and columns express the beautiful outward views completing the building’s top floor skyline. The glass bay conference areas, located on all three stories over the building’s entry, emphasize the open and accessible design quality of the building. The entry canopy is light and open, welcoming visitors, staff and new trainees.
