BKV Group assisted Pine County in the implementation of a new 112,085 sf justice center including complete architectural, interior design, and electrical, structural and mechanical systems design from the pre-design phase through construction. The facility consists of a new district courts including three new court suites, county administration, county attorney, court services, a 140-bed direct supervision and flexible custody podular jail. The design ensures safety and security by providing access/exiting options and vehicular restrictions maintaining a high degree of security while providing the ability to serve the public that is essential to justice facility operations. The open ended design allows for expansion options at both ends of the building.
